The Sacred Prayer
Kaddish is the Jewish mourner's prayer — a profound declaration of faith recited in memory of the departed. Though it does not mention death, it is an affirmation of God's greatness at the most difficult moment of loss.
According to Jewish tradition, Kaddish is recited daily for eleven months following the passing of a parent, and thereafter on every Yahrzeit — the Hebrew anniversary of the death. Each recitation is believed to elevate the soul of the departed to higher spiritual realms.
When one cannot say Kaddish personally — due to distance, illness, or not knowing how — Jewish law permits another Jew to recite it on their behalf. This is an act of profound love and loyalty to the deceased.

Why Choose My Kaddish
